The Adjustable Wheel Riser from JD Metalworks
Inc. is a system designed to allow greater flexibility at the loading
docks when non-standard over the road trailers are used. It has a low
collapsed height that allows standard trailers to back in and a raised
height built to match the application.
The sequence of operation would be adjusted prior to the trailer backing into position. Pressing the RAISE button momementarily raises the unit up until the rear hits the dock face. Once in this position, the over-toggle design holds the platform against the dock face. The trailer is free to back in and be unloaded. See Product Gallery for product images.
